Terms and Conditions<\/h4>

These are the terms and conditions governing the agreement between Ark of the Covenant Tours<\/strong> (referred to as “the Providers of the services”) and you (all persons traveling with us, named on a booking). These terms are essential to understand, so please take the time to read them thoroughly. Confirming travel with Ark of the Covenant Tours<\/strong> signifies that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions as outlined below.<\/p>

Booking and Payment<\/h4>

  1. Service Availability<\/strong>
    All services are subject to availability and are not guaranteed until confirmed.<\/p><\/li>

  2. Deposit<\/strong>
    A 50% deposit of the total cost for each person listed on the booking form is required at the time of booking. Some tours may require a higher deposit, which will be indicated before confirmation.<\/p><\/li>

  3. Special Payments<\/strong>
    Gorilla permits, where applicable, must be paid in full at the time of confirmation and are non-refundable.<\/p><\/li>

  4. Final Payment<\/strong>
    The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the tour unless otherwise specified. A portion of the balance may be paid at the tour’s commencement if agreed upon. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation, subject to standard cancellation fees.<\/p><\/li>

  5. Late Bookings<\/strong>
    For bookings made within 30 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.<\/p><\/li>

  6. Client Information<\/strong>
    At the time of booking, we require full details for all travelers, including names as they appear in passports.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

    Prices<\/h4>

    1. Currency<\/strong>
      All prices are quoted and payable in US Dollars unless otherwise stated.<\/p><\/li>

    2. Price Adjustments<\/strong>
      Prices are subject to change without notice until confirmed.<\/p><\/li>

    3. Inclusions<\/strong>
      Prices generally include:<\/p>

      • Accommodation as specified.<\/li>
      • National park and reserve entrance fees.<\/li>
      • Overland transportation and domestic flights (if stated).<\/li>
      • Guides, drivers, and tracking permits.<\/li>
      • Meals as specified (breakfast, lunch, dinner).<\/li>
      • Unlimited mineral water during safaris (excluding lodges\/camps).<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

      • Exclusions<\/strong>
        Prices exclude personal expenses, insurance, laundry, drinks, passport\/visa fees, tips, and international flights unless specified otherwise.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

        Descriptions and Service<\/h4>

        1. Accuracy<\/strong>
          All information provided about accommodations and activities is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, deviations may occur.<\/p><\/li>

        2. Transportation<\/strong>
          Vehicles provided will vary depending on group size and itinerary. While we ensure vehicles are well-maintained, delays or issues such as breakdowns are possible. In such cases, we will arrange alternatives promptly.<\/p><\/li>

        3. Wildlife Viewing<\/strong>
          Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed, but our guides will do their utmost to ensure an exceptional experience.<\/p><\/li>

        4. Subcontractors<\/strong>
          We reserve the right to utilize subcontractors when necessary.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

          Complaints<\/h4>

          1. Immediate Reporting<\/strong>
            If you encounter any issues, inform your guide or representative immediately to resolve them.<\/p><\/li>

          2. Formal Complaints<\/strong>
            If unresolved, a formal complaint must be submitted in writing within 28 days of completing the tour. Complaints outside this timeline will not be considered.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

            Cancellation and Refunds<\/h4>

            1. Cancellation by You<\/strong>
              Cancellations must be confirmed in writing or email within 24 hours of verbal notice. Charges are as follows:<\/p>

              • More than 30 days before the tour: 50% of the deposit is forfeited.<\/li>
              • 30\u201315 days before the tour: 50% of the total cost is forfeited.<\/li>
              • Less than 15 days before the tour: 100% of the total cost is forfeited.<\/li>
              • Gorilla permits are non-refundable.<\/li><\/ul><\/li>

              • Cancellation by Us<\/strong>
                We may cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. Options will include a refund or alternative arrangements.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                Liability<\/h4>

                1. Travel Risks<\/strong>
                  Travel and adventure involve risks, and participation is at your own risk. We accept no liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage during the tour.<\/p><\/li>

                2. Third-Party Services<\/strong>
                  While we work with reputable partners, we are not responsible for their actions or errors.<\/p><\/li>

                3. Force Majeure<\/strong>
                  We are not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by events beyond our control, such as weather, strikes, or natural disasters.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                  Medical & Travel Documents<\/h4>

                  1. Requirements<\/strong>
                    You are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, vaccinations, and travel insurance.<\/p><\/li>

                  2. Timeliness<\/strong>
                    It is your responsibility to arrive on time with all necessary documents for transport and border crossings.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>

                    Tour Authority<\/h4>

                    1. Guide Authority<\/strong>
                      Your guide\u2019s instructions must be followed for safety and group harmony.<\/p><\/li>

                    2. Behavior<\/strong>
                      We reserve the right to remove participants causing disruption or danger.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
